Join Us
New singers are always welcome. Regular attendance is highly
encouraged and a sense of humour with an ability to sight read also helps.
Our rehearsals are on Monday evenings from
7:30- 9:30pm at the Fanny Li
Hall, St John's Cathedral (see map).
Auditions mainly take place at the beginning of each singing season (September and February) and are quick and friendly.
The choir membership is diverse and our members come from many different backgrounds and professions, from doctors, lawyers, teachers and NGO workers to bankers, vets, ballerinas and students. Today over half the choir has sung with us for more than five years. Some have had musical training whilst others have little experience. They all have one thing in common; their love of music and their enthusiasm for singing.
Membership Subscription:
The Cecilian Singers pay HK$200 per singing season to cover administration costs.
