Joy Around the World

We are delighted to announce that The Cecilian Singers’ 2025 Christmas concert will be supporting Music Children Foundation. Established in 2013, Music Children Foundation (MCF) aims at providing free-of-charge music education for underprivileged children aged 16 or below in Hong Kong.

Join us for ‘Joy Around the World’ and be transported on an exciting journey of festive music from around the globe. From Huron in the chilly Canadian North, to an African-American spiritual. From Norway to Normandy, and Spain to Salzburg. We’re paying homage to Handel – and celebrating Sir John Rutter’s 80th birthday. And of course, you can sing along to some classic Christmas carols. All proceeds are donated to charity, and tickets sell fast – so get yours now!

Highlights of Handel’s Messiah

Thank you to all those who joined us on 12th April as we embarked on an extraordinary musical journey!  We presented a breath-taking performance of highlights from Handel’s Messiah in the beautiful surroundings of Union Church.  Cecilian Singers teamed up with The Hong Kong Chamber Orchestra and soloists from the HKAPA to bring a fabulous Easter treat!  Thank you to all the additional guest singers form HKU, HKWMVC and others who came to join this very special chorus. Conducted by Harty Tam, Musical Director Andrew Leung.
